What is an academic plan of action?

For those students who require more than one term to recover from a deficit in their academic progress, an academic plan may be acceptable.  The student would complete the appeal process as normal, including a statement, documentation and the appeal form.  If appropriate, the student will be asked to submit an Academic Advising form from an academic advisor showing the credits remaining to complete their program as well as an estimated graduation date.

  • If approved, the student will be required to sign an Academic Plan of Action in which the courses will be reviewed at the end of each term.  If the student is adhering to the plan and making successful progress, their eligibility will remain intact.
  • If the student deviates from the academic plan, their eligibility will be revoked.
